WHY? Give a Preview Track from upcoming album
WHY? a band once solely described as a hip-hop act, has just given a preview of their forthcoming album that would never lead you to use the term “hip-hop.” Speaking with Pitchfork in May WHY? front-man Yoni Wolf described the album, Eskimo Snow as “the least hip-hop out of anything I’ve ever been involved with.”
The track is titled “This Blackest Purse.” You can take a taste here. The album Eskimo Snow is on in the US on Sept. 22 through Anticon.
