The Score: Best Free Downloads This Week

3619474897_2fd5cfa5b1_bSorry, this is about four days behind this week. But vacations must be had, and we’re back now.

1. The Fiery Furnaces played a live show in the round where they played every song from their forthcoming album. It was fantastic and you can download. It’s the only preview of their surprisingly straightforward album you’re going to find at this point. (It’s worth a listen.)

2. Nine Inch Nails live set at Bonnaroo is potentially the last show they will ever play in the US. It, like most everything else from the fest, is up online. Download this for teh nostalgia if nothing else.

3. Amazon is hosting a free Arts & Crafts Label Sampler right now. It features some great tracks from Brendan Canning, Charles Spearin, The Constantines, Bell Orchestre, The Stills, Los Campesinos!, The Stills, and on and on.

4. Oneida has a live set online from the Primavera Sound festival that’s worth a listen. A few of these should be from their forthcoming triple record. Bam.

5. Flavorpill has released another mixtape. This time it features tracks from an odd olio of groups including Wale, Sunn O))))), Yo La Tengo, Black Pus, Sunset Rubdown, and more.
