Iron And Wine For Christmas?

Not literally… that would be kind of weird.

How about an Iron and Wine (the band) ornament as a stocking filler this Christmas? This Christmas, Oregon’s Glass Caster’s Union will be creating a handful of special Indie-themed ornaments for charity.

Bright Eyes, the Thermals, Built To Spill, The Black Lips and Iron and Wine are all putting their name and designs to these recycled glass ornaments which are filled with silver or gold (filler, not actual!)

The ornaments are being sold for a ‘buy now’ price on Ebay, all proceeds will be going to Eugene, Oregon’s homeless and low-income families this year.

Wouldn’t your friend prefer one of these over a semi-humorous joke book and a re-gifted pair of socks?
