Tapes ‘n Tapes to Hit the Road Hard

The Minneapo-centric Tapes ‘n Tapes have announced plans to embark upon a lengthy 2009 tour (possibly gearing up for another release? Please?). The two part tour will kick off in Omaha before landing them back in Minneapolis for a short break before the head out again a couple weeks later to rock the right coast for a few weeks.

In addition to a new tour they have a new live track coming on the new Radio K compilation. For years Radio K has been one of the nation’s best college radio stations and their yearly fundraisers are usually a chance to pick up a solid disc of in-studio performances. Tapes are just one of an all-star cast of Minneapolis based and national acts appearing on the disc which will include The Fiery Furnaces, Dosh, Doomtree, Daniel Johnston, A Place to Bury Strangers, Teagan and Sara, Vampire Hands and others.
