Kings of Leon release “Sex on Fire” and announce U.S. tour

To support their new album, Only By The Night (coming out 9/23/08), Kings of Leon are kicking off a fall US tour at Webster Hall in New York.  They previously released a song on NME called “Crawl” and have just released the first official single from the new album “Sex on Fire” on their MySpace page.   You can either risk your browser’s sanity by going to Myspace, waiting for the single to release on iTunes on 8/12 or just download it below.

mp3: Sex on Fire - Kings of Leon
mp3: Crawl - Kings of Leon
mp3: Manhattan (live from Glastonbury) - Kings of Leon

The two month tour should give Caleb Followill plenty of practice getting over his embarrassment of singing “You, your sex is on fire” on stage every night.

This is a show I’m dying to see. Wish it was at the Tower instead of the Electric Factory. Rather have a first row seat rather than fight for a spot in General Admission.

After the Bon Iver fiasco, I think I’m too old for GA concerts. The new single is awesome though.

Seriously - you aren’t going? C’mon old man!

Get in when the doors open and you get a good stool along the railing.
